Inside Sales Representative (Full-time)

The Inside Sales Representative at ProvenWorks is responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business and achieving opportunity-based sales quotas. This is a full sales cycle role that requires the successful candidate to hunt and find new prospects, work and upsell into existing installs and drive and close the deals in the defined territories.

The Inside Sales Representative will also conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, webinar and other modern virtual presence technologies. This individual will also actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based upon the interactions with prospects.

The Successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling and closing deals directly with the customer and or with the downstream channel partners. They must have strong negotiation skills and have a challenger mentality to ensure that the deal closes at an acceptable level of value in line with the ProvenWorks proposition.

Position Responsibilities

  • Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Identify decision-makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process.
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within the client base.
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.
  • Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell. Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales. Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
  • Attend periodic sales training where applicable. Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position
  • Follow company’s sales processed and leads/deal qualification criterias, making sure those are accurately captured in company used CRM

.NET Developer (Full-time)

ProvenWorks is a SaaS company that has over 3000 customers today and is looking to expand its existing development team by recruiting a .NET developer to assist in enhancing and improving its existing range of products with a potential to expand into new endeavours. We are inviting talented candidates with experience in developing .NET applications, ideally on Azure and who are familiar with Microservice Architecture who believe they have high potential.

Ideally you will work from time-to-time from our office based at the University of Reading Campus however we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements with the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, test-driven & scalable code using .NET programming languages.
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
  • Be a quick learner to adopting new technologies.
  • Produce architecture artefacts to articulate larger, strategic changes to key stakeholders.
  • Have a strong passion for coding and the surrounding infrastructure for web applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and pull request approvals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
  • Existing knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, C# and Java are favourable.
  • Familiarity with architecture patterns & APIs (REST, SOAP).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, working within a software development team
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Extremely good attention-to-detail.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Microservice Architecture and modelling techniques such as Event Storming.
  • Use of Microsoft Azure or alternatively AWS.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.

We are looking for self-driven and motivated students to join us for a year placement. Due to the size of our company, the role will depend on the needs of the business closer to the time.
