ProvenWorks is a B2B SaaS company developing software for Salesforce CRM. Due to our continued growth, we’re looking for a Customer Support & Pre-Sales Engineer to join the existing Customer Success team to provide second-line support to our enterprise customers and global brands.
In the role of a Customer Support & Pre-Sales Engineer, you will engage with customers to comprehend their requirements and demonstrate how our products can enhance their Salesforce implementation, with a primary focus on showcasing and supporting the value of our software.
You will excel at providing problem-solving support and addressing enquiries through email and video conference interactions with prospects and existing customers. Your ability to effectively coordinate with team members will be crucial in monitoring the progress of ongoing deals and identifying any technical obstacles.
Joining this small but mighty team, you’ll need to take initiative and be able to pick up new tasks quickly, get stuck in with a proactive attitude and feel confident to explore new ways to enhance the current pre-sales and support strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in pre-sales, showcasing product value to prospects
- Provide expert support via email and video, addressing queries promptly
- Respond professionally to enquiries and issues via Salesforce Service Cloud
- Proactively improve technical documentation where necessary
- Learn and take on extra responsibilities as required
- Adaptability and exceeding expectations are essential
Requirements:
- Have the right to work full-time in the UK and be able to commute to our office at least weekly
- Experience in IT technical support
- Curious and eager to understand the inner workings of technology
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail in visual and written content
- Proactive in learning new skills and researching
- Ability to prioritise and multitask, seeking help when needed
Nice to haves:
- Prior experience in a Pre-Sales technical role
- Understanding of CRM systems
- Experience of writing public-facing content

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Placement Student to join our software development team. As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the development and configuration of Salesforce applications, gain exposure to web technologies, API concepts, and the latest Azure cloud technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment while working with cutting-edge technologies.
Ideal skillset:
- Good knowledge of either Java or C# to demonstrate Object-Oriented Programming
(OOP) coding abilities. - Awareness of web technologies such as JavaScript and CSS.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases is advantageous.
- Understanding of API concepts and integration principles.

participate in its various stages. - Work with Azure Cloud Technologies, including Azure Data Factory and other MS Azure
cloud infrastructure. - Be exposed to enterprise software systems such as Salesforce and Azure SQL Server.
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand both
business and customer needs. - Participate in code reviews.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
